About

A lot of the work I do focuses on community and removing barriers — whether they exist artificially or otherwise.

I'm a Senior Manager in Tech M&A at Deloitte Canada. Operational M&A — due diligence through Day 1 execution. That's the day job. But most of what I care about lives in the margins of that: in the community of Muslim technologists I help grow through MINT, in the stories I'm preserving through Their Stories, in the retreat experiences I design with Yaara Tours.

I think we do ourselves a disservice when we replicate the systems that historically excluded us. When you gain power and momentum, it becomes easy — dangerously easy — to rebuild the same walls with different bricks.

Operational M&A
Senior Manager in Tech M&A at Deloitte Canada. Due diligence through Day 1 execution and beyond — I work across the full integration lifecycle, not just the deal.
Community building
I build spaces that are reflective, rigorous, and long-term — not exclusive, not performative. MINT is the clearest expression of this right now. A home for Muslim professionals and founders in the GTA that we built quietly, then all at once.
Speaking & panels
On Muslim entrepreneurship, women in finance and tech, community-driven venture, and the ethics of capital. I speak plainly and I mean what I say.
Intentional travel
Co-founder of Yaara Tours. Women's retreats built around presence and connection — not tourism. Currently running in Portugal.
Archival & writing
Founder of Their Stories — a narrative archive preserving first-hand colonial experience accounts. Started with my grandfather's diaries from the Partition of the Indian Subcontinent. Colonialism is taught as history. In reality, it remains in living memory.
